Metalloobrabotka was founded in 1984 by the Russian Machine Tool Association and Expocentre Exhibition Center, supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Federation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the European Association of Machine Tool Industry Cooperation. It has successfully held 19 sessions and is the largest machine tool exhibition in Russia. Metalloobrabotka 2018 has a net exhibition area of 41,000 square meters, and 1,097 renowned companies from 57 countries are participating. The total number of visitors was 32,497.
