Lean Foundation Building Red Flag Leading the Way

April – The Month of Improvement Proposals

Preface of the Ceremony:

The spring breeze in April spurs us to strive forward, and the clarion call of lean production is sounded here today! Today, we gather together to kick off the “Improvement Proposal Month” with a solemn flag-raising ceremony. The theme of this ceremony is “Lean Foundation Building, Red Flag Leading the Way.” We will start with the implementation of standards and optimization of layout, guided by the Red Flag and the rhythm of takt time, and jointly embark on a new journey of lean production towards “zero waste and high efficiency”!

I. Flag-Raising Ceremony

Look! Every step of the Flag Guard embodies the core concept of lean production—“takt time” is precise and consistent, and the marching route is as short and optimal as a “material flow path”!

Gaze up! The three flags advancing side by side symbolize the Five-star Red Flag leading the direction and the Lean Management (MUDA) flag gathering strength! Let us pay our respects with a salute, feeling the integration of lean and faith!

II. Representative Speeches

The production team representative shared the achievements and insights of lean production promotion at the flag-raising ceremony, emphasizing the importance of full participation and continuous improvement, and looking forward to the future development direction with determination to build an industry benchmark workshop.

01. Business Unit—Zhu Haojie

At the flag-raising ceremony, Zhu Haojie from the business unit shared his insights and achievements in lean production. From the introduction of lean management and the consolidation of standardization to full participation in improvement, the team has continuously optimized processes and improved efficiency. In the future, they will continue to deepen lean practices and strive towards the goal of building an industry benchmark workshop.

02. Outstanding Employee Representative—Zhang Hongwu

Zhang Hongwu shared his experience of using lean management to enhance the corporate image and efficiency. He expressed gratitude to his colleagues for their efforts in 7S management, which has led to a refreshed workshop appearance, from tool positioning to the clearing of safety passages around machines. However, he also pointed out existing issues, such as the “temporary storage becoming long-term堆放” in some material storage areas and tools and gauges not being promptly returned to their places after use, which increases the time spent searching for items. He emphasized that the awareness of 7S needs to be integrated into daily work.

03. Lean Mobilization—Xiao Guozheng

Xiao Guozheng shared his insights on how to use lean thinking to enhance the corporate image and efficiency during the visit corridor optimization. He pointed out that the core of lean thinking lies in eliminating waste, optimizing processes, and continuous improvement. By implementing lean production methods, such as 7S management and standardized operations, companies can achieve increased production efficiency and reduced costs. For example, optimizing the visit corridor not only improves the working environment but also enhances the corporate image, allowing customers and visitors to feel the company’s standardization and professionalism. In addition, through value stream analysis and continuous improvement, companies can respond more quickly to market demands and improve customer satisfaction. Xiao Guozheng emphasized that lean thinking is not only the optimization of the production process but also an important part of corporate culture, which requires the participation of all employees and continuous practice.

III. Oath of the Lean Management Committee

The Lean Management Committee made a solemn commitment at the flag-raising ceremony, expressing their determination to aim for zero defects and to hold continuous improvement as a belief. They emphasized the importance of standardized operations and clarified the work priorities for April and beyond, including the implementation of process standards, equipment standards, and 7S conservation, the elimination of waste, the optimization of layout, and the establishment of efficient takt times.

IV. President’s Speech

The President spoke at the ceremony: In the past, we have achieved remarkable results on the path of lean production, and everyone’s efforts are there for all to see. In the future, we must continue to follow the guidance of lean philosophy, fully promote the implementation of process standards, optimize equipment management, implement 7S conservation, eliminate waste, and improve efficiency. Departments must work closely together, break down barriers, and focus on the customer to provide higher quality products and services. Let us join hands and strive forward with the spirit of “improving by 1% every day,” continuously improve, pursue excellence, and work towards the goal of building an industry benchmark, so that “the lean flower bears fruit and the red flag flies high in creating brilliance”!

Summary of the Ceremony:

Colleagues! The Red Flag is flying, and the war drums are beating! Let us integrate the lean philosophy into our blood, use standards to build a solid foundation, and break through bottlenecks with innovation! Remember: every small improvement is a solid step towards “Made in China”! Let us speak with results and prove ourselves with actions!
